WARNING !!! All Commercial Picnic Tables are not Created Equal
When comparing commercial aluminum picnic tables, be sure to check the frame design. You will note that the frame design on our tables is a molded one peice design that curves upward and then inward toward the table top.
This inward curve places the center of gravity closer to the middle of the table which helps to prevent it from tipping over. Other table manufacturers use a welded leg frame design that comes straight up at a 90 degree angle
to the seat. In the past we too sold a similar style table, but discontinued selling it because we have found that design is prone to tipping over when people sit on one side of the table only.
Old style overhanging tabletop versions of wheelchair accessible picnic tables are unevenly balanced and can be easily toppled over. Wheelchair cutout measures 3' and each side of cutout is a 3' section of seating. With our unique center access table design this is no longer an issue. Great looking, better preforming, and economical, what more could you ask for? Our 8 foot long wheelchair accessible aluminum picnic tables can be seen in many national, state , and local parks throught the USA. These aluminum tables are maintenance free and long lasting. Table legs are constructed of hot dipped galvanized steel. Tabletops and seat planks consist of 2x10 anodixed aluminum and have a groved finished. Center wheel chair access design makes for easy access from either side of the table. Table measures 8 feet in length and is available in standard or heavy duty models. Standard duty models use a 1 5/8" O.D. frame and weighs 356 lbs. The Heavy Duty model uses a 2 3/8" OD frame and weighs 424 lbs.
